Rhea joined us during the Spring semester of 2023 as part of her Health Plan and Promotion class at Worcester State University. She graduated that Spring with a bachelor’s degree in public health and Spanish for health professionals. With WCG, Rhea assisted our Community Organizer with events such as the Trinity Lutheran Basketball League, as well as helping to get our green spaces and community gardens up and running for the growing season. Rhea has experience learning about food systems and sustainable farming practices during her semester abroad in Chile and was excited to shift gears to urban farming/gardening in Worcester.
